Giving to the American Studies Program

Joel M. Jones
Please consider contributing to the fund for the Joel M. Jones Lecture Series, recently launched by American Studies alumni and friends.  Dr. Jones, who passed away in the summer of 2016, was a leader at UNM during the 1970's and 80's, serving as department chair, Dean of Faculty, and Vice President for Administration, Planning and Student Affairs.  Inspired by Joel Jones’ talent for connecting teaching, research, and contemporary social justice issues—the personal and the political—this community-based lecture and discussion will be an annual event bringing alumni and friends of UNM to campus each year.   For more information and to become involved in this effort click this link- The Joel M. Jones Lecture Series.
