Ezekiel Acosta (he/el) holds a B.A. from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He graduated in 2019 with High Honors and an Outstanding Innovation Award for his research.

He has held a Regents’ Winrock and Minority Doctoral Fellowship, a Crossing Latinidades Mellon Humanities Fellowship, and was part of Michigan’s Humanities Emerging Research Scholar’s Program. As of 2025, he is a Ph.D. Candidate and is currently working on his dissertation. Ezekiel is an instructor for the Center for Teaching and Learning for the 2025-2026 academic year.
